Job Description : Embedded Software Engineer

AMD Converged Networking and Storage Software team has an opening for a software Engineer to develop high performance I/O software for computer, storage and network acceleration in hyperscale, virtualized datacenters.

Basic Job Deliverable : Embedded Software Engineer (Development)

1. Excellent C programming skills

2. Responsibilities include specification and development of Embedded Software for use in standalone products. This will involve designing, developing and maintaining software subsystems in an embedded environment. We are seeking a fast learning, dynamic engineer with strong problem-solving skills and eager to develop their skills.

Experience:

i. Experience with software development in a Linux environment

ii. Experience in designing SW API or Hardware Abstraction Interfaces.

iii. Experience in C/C++ programming

iv. Experience with Multi-threaded software development.

v. Experience in Firmware development, register interface programming, general algorithms and data structures

vi. Experience with development of software targeted for x86, standalone and RTOS platforms

vii. Experience with Zephyr RTOS and NVMe technology is a great advantage.

viii. Experience with embedded processors such as ARM, RISCV, TenSilica

ix. Strong debugging skills at device and board level using gdb, JTAG debuggers
