We are hiring an Embedded QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and robustness of embedded software and firmware used in complex electronic systems. This role focuses on systematic verification and validation across unit, integration, and system levels to support the delivery of high-quality, certifiable products. The selected candidate will work closely with embedded software engineers to identify defects, validate fixes, and ensure stable hardware-software integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded firmware and software.
• Develop automated test scripts using Python or C for functional and regression testing.
• Perform unit-level, integration-level, and full system-level validation.
• Validate system functionality, performance, and robustness under various operating conditions.
• Verify real-time behavior and timing constraints in RTOS-based systems.
• Test microcontroller-based systems and hardware-software interactions.
• Utilize instrumentation and debugging tools to analyze embedded system performance.
• Identify, document, and track defects using version control and defect-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to isolate root causes and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed test documentation and contribute to quality and release readiness processes.

Preferred Skills & Tools:

• Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Proficiency in Python or C for test automation.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with defect-tracking and issue management tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
