Embedded System R&D Engineer

Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded System R & D Engineer with expertise in C/C++ programming languages and a strong understanding of communication protocols. As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge embedded software solutions for our innovative products.

You should mainly be doing:

• Design and implement software for embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
• Conduct R&D to design and develop innovative IoT solutions using ESP32, Bluetooth mesh networks etc.
• Prototype & develop small-scale WIFI-controlled IoT products.
• Design compact, efficient 2-layer PCBs (both through-hole and SMD) for various systems/applications.
• Design, develop, code, test, and debug system software.
• Review code and design.
• Analyze and enhance the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, drawings, and processes.

Requirements:

You should possess the undermentioned skills to land this opportunity & change the world together.

• Solid programming experience in C or C++
• Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
• Familiar with various microcontrollers/chips including ESP/Arduino/Raspberry pi/STM
• Familiar with IP Protocols, APIs, and JSON processing.
• Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and datasheets for components.
• Candidate should have sound knowledge of using lab equipment such as Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function generator, and Soldering Station.
• An experience of at least 1 year would be preferred.

This is a full-time permanent contract-bound office-based Job

Location: G-12, Islamabad - VT ISB Office.
