Embriodery Machine Operator

I. QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

· Attainment of a high school diploma or its equivalent educational qualification

· Proven experience as an Embroidery Machine Operator or similar role.

· Must have at least two (2) of experience as an Embroidery Machine Operator or Embroidery Designer

· Successful completion of a course in embroidery design or a related field is a plus

Required Skills :

·Proficiency in operating embroidery sewing machines and related equipment.

· Strong understanding of embroidery design concepts, color schemes, and materials.

· Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and quality control.

· Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members, Managers, and Designers.

· Strong organizational skills to manage production targets and work area cleanliness.

· Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and additional responsibilities.

II. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review required EMB designs, images, samples, or media thoroughly to assess feasibility and prepare necessary raw materials.
• Collaborate with the Manager and Designer to discuss EMB design requirements and related tasks.
• Create counter samples and meticulously verify accuracy and quality against the original design.
• Calculate total stitches, colors, production costs, lead times, and targets in consultation with the Manager and Designer.
• Set production targets based on stitch count, number of colors, appliqué, panel attachments, piping, cording, and other relevant factors.
• Operate embroidery sewing machines proficiently to produce abaya embroidery designs and logos.
• Achieve hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly production targets as established.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in adherence to workplace standards.
• Prioritize personal safety and the safety of machinery and equipment during operations.
• Safeguard software, designs, and documents, ensuring their confidentiality.
• Perform preventive maintenance and daily upkeep of embroidery machines to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and manage an adequate supply of threads and other raw materials as advised by the Manager.
• Manage the maintenance and availability of machine spare parts.
• Fulfill any additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the Manager.
