Position Overview

This position plays a critical role in aligning internal supply chain functions and customer priorities to achieve operational and strategic goals. The CPFR Customer Collaboration Lead is responsible for leading structured collaboration with selected customers in the areas of forecast alignment, replenishment planning, and execution monitoring. The role works cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in supply planning, logistics, customer service, and commercial functions, and externally with customer supply chain teams. The objective is to deliver high service levels, improve supply chain responsiveness, and support mutual operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Scaling the CPFR Framework:

  • Expand ongoing CPFR pilot programs by onboarding additional customers and tailoring collaborative approaches to specific business needs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration and execution.

Customer Collaboration

  • Develop strong working relationships with customers to align on demand planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain performance goals.
  • Ensure clear and transparent communication with customers to maintain trust and strengthen relationships.

Process Standardization And Management

  • Support the refinement of processes for collaborative demand forecasting, order replenishment, inventory monitoring, and supply/demand alignment to support customer-focused operations.

Performance Management

  • Track and regularly review key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, bias, service levels, and inventory health.

Customer Issue Resolution

  • Act as the primary contact for addressing customer concerns related to order management, replenishments, and supply chain constraints.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify root causes, resolve issues promptly, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with Commercial teams to ensure customer needs and business priorities are reflected in planning and execution.
  • Engage with demand planning, customer service, distribution, and supply planning teams to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of CPFR practices.

Technical Tools And Automation

  • Evaluate and recommend tools (dashboards, EDI platforms, and collaboration portals) to automate and enhance the CPFR processes.

Problem Resolution

  • Proactively address challenges such as data quality gaps, lack of transparency, or process misalignment by implementing clear and actionable solutions.

Education

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS-CPIM, CSCP) are a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in supply chain, customer collaboration, or key account operations.
  • A minimum of two years of involvement in CPFR, IBP or S&OP-related cross-functional collaboration initiatives.
  • Experience in Medical Devices 'Last Mile' Supply Chain Management is desirable

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP (ECC or S/4HANA).
  • Solid understanding of supply chain collaboration platforms and data sharing interfaces
  • Proven understanding of supply chain planning data elements (e.g., forecasts, inventory levels, order status, service metrics).

Key Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills to build partnerships and align cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical approach with a focus on data-driven decision-making and problem resolution.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes, planning, and execution.
  • Validated ability to lead sophisticated projects and multiple collaborators simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are considered an advantage

Regional Knowledge

  • Familiarity with CEEMA region market dynamics and customer-specific requirements is highly desirable.

Travel

  • Willingness to travel within the CEEMA region (about 10-20%) to meet with commercial collaborators and customers to support implementation and improvement activities.
