Role Overview

As a Graduate Field Service Engineer, you will join our dynamic team in Dubai and receive comprehensive training to support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Rapiscan’s X-ray and Trace detection systems across the UAE and MEA region. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your engineering career in a hands-on, customer-facing role with strong mentorship and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of X-ray and Trace systems.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities under supervision.
• Participate in site surveys and help prepare technical reports.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot system faults with guidance from senior engineers.
• Complete technical documentation including service reports and maintenance logs.
• Attend customer sites to support service calls and routine inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve system performance.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Participate in technical meetings and training sessions.
• Report to the Service Manager and receive ongoing feedback and support.

Candidate Profile

You will be an Emerati by Birth

• Recent graduate with a BSc in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Strong interest in field service engineering and technology.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn specialized software.
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
