Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:
Thoracotomy- open, Arterial line and CVP readings,
Ultrasound IV placement, Target temperature management, critical medication drips and titration
Equipment Used on Unit:
Rapid infuser, vein finders, TTM machines, CVP and Arterial lines, BS U/S, Warmer
Unit/Facility Details:
There is no shift differential for AM/PM.
Number of Beds - 25
Patient Ratios – Minimum 4:1 maximum 5:1 if all possible
Special Requests:
Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend rotational schedule
10 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
