Overview

Emergency Response Consultant - Major Downstream Revamping Project (KSA)

Responsibilities

Develop rescue guidelines for various scenarios (e.g., high elevations, confined spaces).
Present guidelines to contractor Emergency Response Team (ERT) leaders.
Support contractors in preparing and validating Intervention & Rescue Plans.
Assist the project ERT team in training firefighting and rescue personnel.
Participate in emergency drills; assess contractor ERT and command center performance; design scenarios when needed.
Audit contractor ERT equipment and facilities.
Review emergency response plans across all contractor packages; identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Update the project's Emergency Response Plan following drills or organizational changes.
Ensure emergency equipment and facilities across packages are operational and fit for use.
Provide on-site support and advice to contractor ERT leads during emergencies.

Qualifications & Experience

Professional Experience: 10-15 years in fire brigades (e.g., French Marins-Pompiers)
Experience in Similar Role: 10+ years in equivalent positions
Education: Engineer or equivalent
Languages: Fluent in English
