Emergency Medical Technician

• Patient Care:
• Assist in triaging patients and obtaining vital signs.
• Provide basic life support, including CPR and first aid.
• Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to medical staff.
• Assist in wound care, splinting, and other procedures as directed by medical personnel.
• Clinical Support:
• Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures, including phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians and nurses.
• Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and supplies.
• Administrative Duties:
• Document patient information accurately and promptly in medical records.
• Assist in the coordination of patient flow and communication between departments.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness for use.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Participate in training and development activities to maintain and enhance skills.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
