ER Technician

ER technicians provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, assist with procedures, and maintain the emergency department by stocking supplies and keeping the area clean. Their responsibilities include taking patient histories, performing diagnostic tests like EKGs, providing basic wound care, and transporting patients within the hospital. Direct patient care and support

• Take and record vital signs, patient history, and other measurements.
• Perform basic wound care and assist with minor medical procedures.
• Assist with patient assessments and physical examinations under supervision.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during a crisis.
• Educate patients on basic care, such as how to use crutches or canes.

Procedural and diagnostic assistance

• Assist doctors and nurses with medical procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests, including EKGs and blood draws.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.

Departmental and administrative duties

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Stock and prepare medical equipment and supplies.
• Accurately document patient information and medical care.
• Transport patients to other areas of the hospital using wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Participate in administrative tasks, which can include managing patient records or scheduling appointments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
