Core patient care duties<ul><li>Patient assessment: Monitor and assess patient health conditions, vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure), and report changes to the medical team.</li><li>Medication administration: Administer medications, injections, and intravenous infusions as prescribed.</li><li>Direct assistance: Help patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.</li></ul><ul><li>Wound care: Dress wounds and apply surgical dressings.</li><li>Pre and post-operative care: Provide pre-operative care and intensive post-operative care.</li></ul>Documentation and communication<ul><li>Record keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient health status, treatment plans, and vital signs.</li><li>Reporting: Document patient observations and report any changes or incidents to the appropriate medical staff.</li><li>Collaboration: Work with doctors, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.</li></ul><ul><li>Patient/Family education: Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.Safety and support</li></ul><ul><li>Safety protocols: Adhere to strict safety protocols, infection control measures, and hospital policies.</li><li>Emotional support: Provide emotional support and a compassionate approach to patients and their families.</li><li>Environment maintenance: Help ensure a clean and safe environment and properly dispose of medical waste and sharps.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist in procedures: Assist doctors during medical procedures and surgeries.Additional responsibilities</li></ul><ul><li>Midwifery: Some GNM nurses may provide care related to women's health, including pregnancy and childbirth.</li><li>Community health: Some roles involve community health education, health checks, and vaccination programs in a community setting.</li><li>Supervision: Some GNM nurses may supervise junior staff or student nurses.</li><li>Administrative tasks: Perform other duties like transporting patients, equipment, and specimens, and managing hospital laundry.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
