ICU Nursing Supervisor – Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of ICU nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient care standards, clinical practices, and compliance with hospital protocols and accreditation guidelines.
• Allocate duties, prepare duty rosters, and ensure adequate staffing for all shifts.
• Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and support to ICU nurses and junior staff.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of ICU equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Coordinate with doctors, multidisciplinary teams, and departments for patient management and smooth workflow.
• Monitor infection control practices and ensure strict adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
• Handle emergency situations efficiently and guide the team during critical cases.
• Conduct performance evaluations, training sessions, and competency assessments for nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records, incident reports, and administrative documentation.
• Participate in policy implementation, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation processes.
• Address patient and family concerns professionally and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and professional nursing standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
