As an Emergency Medicine physician working with SearchPlus HR, you will deliver urgent medical care to patients in emergency situations. Your role entails diagnosing critical medical conditions, providing immediate treatment, and working effectively in high-pressure urgent situations.

You will collaborate closely with a comprehensive healthcare team to ensure high-quality care is delivered, maintaining a focus on patient safety and well-being. Your expertise is vital in managing complex cases and working towards improving patient outcomes in emergency settings.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and prioritize patients in emergency scenarios for immediate treatment
• Provide emergent care for a broad spectrum of conditions and injuries
• Order and interpret diagnostic procedures, including laboratory tests and imaging
• Stabilize critically ill patients and facilitate their timely transfer to appropriate care
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to orchestrate care plans
• Participate in continuous professional development and education in emergency medicine

Requirements

• MD/DO degree with board certification in Emergency Medicine
• Proven experience in an emergency medicine role or equivalent setting
• Strong understanding of emergency medicine protocols, practices, and guidelines
• Ability to make rapid, effective decisions in emergencies
• Exceptional communication skills to engage with patients and medical teams
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Proven ability to work effectively in dynamic and high-pressure environments
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
