About the Opportunity:

Approximately 32,000 visits per year (average 90 patients/day)

18 ED beds plus designated Flex area for hallway beds; Hospital has 80 inpatient beds
-
Interventional cardiology and cath lab for STEMIs
-
Primary Stroke Center with tele-stroke/neuro support
-
OB/GYN services (no NICU)
-
No pediatric admissions
-
Epic EMR with strong physician customization and optimization
-
Shift Structure: Combination of 10- and 12-hour shifts; no triage responsibilities; single coverage from 2:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:

Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:

Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and

Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital. Upon Hire Required and

Must be credentialed for all core procedures. Upon Hire Required

Certification as an Emergency Medical Commander. Upon Hire Preferred
