About the Opportunity:

• Approximately 32,000 visits per year (average 90 patients/day)
• 18 ED beds plus designated Flex area for hallway beds; Hospital has 80 inpatient beds
• Interventional cardiology and cath lab for STEMIs
• Primary Stroke Center with tele-stroke/neuro support
• OB/GYN services (no NICU)
• No pediatric admissions
• Epic EMR with strong physician customization and optimization
• Shift Structure: Combination of 10- and 12-hour shifts; no triage responsibilities; single coverage from 2:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital. Upon Hire Required and
• Must be credentialed for all core procedures. Upon Hire Required
• Certification as an Emergency Medical Commander. Upon Hire Preferred

• Clinical skills and knowledge of emergency care, techniques and procedures.
• Teaching skills.
