Emergency Operation and Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Emergency Operation and Maintenance Technician to support the ADNOC City Gas AMI Smart Gas Metering Project. The role involves responding to emergency gas network issues, performing routine maintenance and ensuring safe and reliable operation of smart gas metering systems and natural gas pipelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to gas leaks, meter faults and emergency breakdowns.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of smart gas meters.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of AMI smart gas meters.
• Conduct pressure testing, leak detection and system isolation during emergencies.
• Maintain records of emergency calls, repairs and maintenance activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with ADNOC safety standards and HSE procedures.
• Coordinate with control room, supervisors and contractors to restore gas supply efficiently.
• Assist in customer site visits, inspections and safety audits.
• Report faults and provide technical feedback for continuous system improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma, ITI or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in gas distribution, metering or O&M (preferably ADNOC or UAE utility projects).
• Hands-on experience in emergency response operations and natural gas pipeline maintenance.
• Knowledge of AMI smart gas meters and pressure regulation systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with ADNOC procedures and HSE standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• UAE Driving License preferred.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
