Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – 13 Week Contract

We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for 13-week contract assignments in a fast-paced hospital emergency department. This role is ideal for ER nurses with strong clinical judgment who thrive in high-acuity, high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with acute illness, trauma, and medical emergencies
• Perform rapid triage, assessment, and prioritization of patient needs
• Initiate emergency interventions and administer medications per protocol
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Assist physicians during emergency procedures and resuscitation efforts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary emergency department teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Ability to function effectively in high-acuity and emergency situations
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA required)
• ACLS required
• CEN preferred

Contract Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts (days or nights, based on availability)
• Employment Type: Contract (not a permanent full-time role)
