Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – 13 Week Contract

We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week contract assignment in a fast-paced hospital emergency department. This role is ideal for ER nurses who are confident managing high-acuity patients, rapid triage, and emergency interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage and comprehensive patient assessments
• Provide care to patients presenting with trauma, acute illness, and medical emergencies
• Initiate emergency interventions and administer medications per protocol
• Assist with resuscitation efforts and emergency procedures
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes quickly
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary emergency department teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
• Ability to perform effectively in high-acuity, high-volume environments

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA required)
• ACLS required
• CEN preferred

Contract Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts (days or nights based on availability)
• Employment Type: Contract (not a permanent role)
