Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting our organization's HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human capital management and employment laws, as well as excellent communication skills to foster a positive work environment.
Duties
- Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Administer employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the company culture.
- Oversee employee evaluation processes and performance management initiatives.
- Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Provide guidance on FMLA regulations and ensure compliance with employment and labor laws.
- Support change management initiatives by developing strategic plans for organization design.
- Maintain HRIS systems for accurate data entry and workforce management.
- Handle benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries regarding employee benefits.
- Assist in affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts to ensure a diverse and capable workforce.
- Manage employee relations issues by providing conflict management support and fostering open communication.
- Collaborate on projects related to HR sourcing, strategic planning, and organizational development.
Skills
- Proficient in human resources management principles, including talent management and performance management.
- Knowledgeable in employment laws such as OSHA regulations and workers' compensation guidelines.
- Familiarity with various HR software systems such as Workday, Paychex, Dayforce, Oracle HCM, ADP, iCIMS, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, UltiPro, Kronos, Lever, Taleo, Paylocity, Salesforce for effective HR operations.
- Strong project management abilities with a focus on achieving organizational goals.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus.
- Administrative experience with data collection and entry capabilities to maintain accurate records.
