Purpose
The Employee Communications Intern will support the Communications Department in executing internal communication initiatives while gaining hands on experience in content creation, publishing, and communication strategy. This role will primarily assist with Employee Communications activities, including content management for the Tenaris intranet, regional social media channels, events, and digital campaigns.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and publish content for the Tenaris intranet and local social media channels.
- Support employee events and town halls, including invitation design, photo and video production, merchandising coordination, and logistics.
- Assist in producing the mill newspaper and digital newsletters by gathering information, coordinating content development, designing layouts, and facilitating dissemination.
- Contribute to digital campaigns and internal communication initiatives as needed.
- Conduct basic research and data analysis to enhance communication and content strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Creative Media, or a related field.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Meta (Facebook/Instagram), WhatsApp, and internal communication tools such as SharePoint and email platforms.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and message consistency in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging and visually appealing content.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for various audiences.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multicultural team.
- Organizational skills and a strong sense of commitment to assigned tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with vendors when needed.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Experience in social media management is an advantage.
- Availability to work onsite, part time (20 hours per week) during the school year or full-time(40 hours) for a summer internship from May 27th to August 7th.
