Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to serve as a subject matter expert on workplace health and wellness improvement opportunities and programs aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of all HMC staff. The incumbent will take a lead on wellness initiatives, promote health behaviors, and project a positive and supportive image of workplace wellness. They will collaborate with Wellbeing Champions and all stakeholders across the corporation to facilitate implementation of HMC Employee Wellbeing Program.
Key Requirements

Develops and implements health promotion and awareness plans for the Wellbeing program throughout HMC.

Contributes to the development of employee wellbeing strategy, goals and policies.

Develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive employee Wellbeing program to reduce employee health risks and improve their health status.

Establish and maintains links with Wellbeing Champions and Line Managers and coordinates the delivery of Wellbeing programs to all HMC employees.

Enhance the awareness of the risk factors that can affect employee health and encourage employees to take more responsibility for their health behaviors.

Coordinates health, wellness and nutrition fairs, and health screenings and conducts various health- related workshops and lectures.

Assembles data from a variety of sources and systems for use in assessment and planning of health education and wellbeing programs.

Develops individual employee health plans, assigns targets and goals, action steps specific to employee personal needs & priorities and monitors progress to improve health outcomes and status

Provide individualized and group behavior change coaching to reduce or eliminate high risk behaviors.

Coordinate the delivery of services and care with other members of a multi-disciplinary team within HMC and external vendors as directed by AED of HR.

Compiles statistical summaries of participants and wellbeing champion activity data, workshop attendance to ensure proper detailed program evaluation.

Conducts surveys, analyze, provide data and consult with advisory groups, taskforces and the medical professionals to coordinate, advice and advance employee health education program.

Assists with program strategy and budget development and monitors monthly expenditures.

Develops and deliver educational health and wellness presentations and training programs.

Responds to high volume of inbound employee calls as well as leading campaign to encourage target employees to enroll in the program and ensure participants have sustained engagement.

Assists in preparing news releases and articles on health topics and developing information for newsletters and other publications.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field or Nutrition or Psychology
Experience:
6 years’ experience in employee health and wellness program. OR HMC may exempt the above-mentioned experience requirements for Qatari nationals who show potential for success in this role
