The Employee Health & Workers’ Compensation Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration, oversight, and continuous improvement of the workers’ compensation program and employee health reporting. This role serves as the primary point of contact and escalation for workers’ compensation matters, leads coordination with the third-party administrator, and ensures consistent, compliant and efficient case management. The role also manages compliance and reporting requirements across the employee health and injury space and provides data-driven insights across employee health, injuries, and claims to support risk mitigation and operational decision-making.
Experience
-
At least two (2) years of experience in Benefits, Workers’ Compensation, Human Resources, Employee Health and Wellness, Compliance/Legal and or Quality

Experience leading projects and ability to follow up and meet deadlines

Experience analyzing data, preparing reports and tracking metrics
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with Workers’ Compensation and FMLA, including terminology, law, claims resolution, compliance and ADA.

Experience working with Electronic Medical Records

Experience in healthcare, another highly regulated environment

Familiarity with Workers Compensation systems, incident tracking tools, or HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday)

Experience supporting compliance or audit-related reporting

Experience in infection prevention and control

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Responsibilities

Analyzes data and trends in employee health and workers’ compensation and leave data.

Delivers reporting, analytics and compliance oversight.

Produces regular and ad hoc reports for workers’ compensation, employee injuries, claim trends, and employee health metrics.

Ensures accuracy and consistency of data across systems, vendors and internal reporting tools.

Leads process improvement for employee health and workers’ compensation and leave areas.

Project manages and implements programs to enhance employee health and safety.

Drives employee health initiatives and administers workers compensation in coordination with vendors.

Ensures compliance with federal, state and organizational requirements for employee health, injuries and workers compensation.

Partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) procedures and regulations.

Serves as primary liaison with workers compensation provider and leads continuous assessment and improvement through issue identification, quality data and trend analysis.

Responds to inquiries from employees, leaders and system partners regarding workers’ compensation status, processes and reporting.

Assists with education and communication related to workers’ compensation and employee health.

Functions as subject matter expert and leads data management activities at all stages of assigned projects.

Navigates, understands, and presents data in response to reporting and data requests.

Ensures accuracy and reliability of data delivered content through quality analysis and testing. Resolves data discrepancies.

Utilizes strong task management skills to track and prioritize outstanding system needs.

Supports existing applications, provides documentation and training, and functions as a knowledge resource to support user experience.

Contributes to interdisciplinary performance and quality improvement processes.

Partners with accreditation team and other stakeholders to ensure staff are compliant with regulatory standards at all times.
