Employee Relations & Payroll Manager

At Boutiqaat , we’re seeking a dynamic Employee Relations & Payroll Manager to lead critical HR operations someone who can protect employee trust, ensure compliance, and drive operational excellence across the organization while also handling end to end payroll related functions.


What You’ll Be Doing:


  • Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions in line with policies and labor laws
  • Conduct and oversee investigations ensuring fair and compliant outcomes
  • Advise line managers on employee relations matters
  • Ensure consistent application of ER and payroll policies across departments
  • Escalate high-risk cases with proper documentation and mitigation plans
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage all payroll components: salaries, allowances, overtime, bonuses, deductions, etc.
  • Implement payroll controls (validation, approvals, segregation of duties)
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee compensation queries
  • Align benefits administration inputs with payroll processing
  • Oversee attendance and leave processes ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor system entries and maintain proper documentation
  • Ensure alignment with HR policies across employee lifecycle stages
  • Address employee concerns related to attendance and leave
  • Manage employee exit processes including clearance and exit interviews
  • Ensure accurate and compliant final settlements
  • Coordinate with departments for smooth offboarding and asset clearance
  • Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes
  • Ensure accuracy of employee data across HRIS and payroll systems
  • Oversee payroll, attendance, and employee record entries
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and analytics for management
  • Support HR system automation and process improvements
  • Provide documentation for internal and external audits
  • Lead ER and payroll teams for efficient service delivery
  • Establish workflows, timelines, and payroll calendars
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align HR with business goals and provide insights based on HR and payroll data
  • Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement


What You Bring to the Table:


  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in employee relations and payroll and minimum 3 years in a managerial role
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems
  • Strong skills in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and payroll compliance
  • High accuracy in managing complex payroll operations
  • Ability to handle sensitive cases with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making ability
  • Process improvement and problem-solving capabilities
