The Employee Support Coordinator provides reliable and efficient housing and transportation support for Gunstock’s international Work and Travel (WAT) employees. This position oversees the general orderliness and safety of Gunstock’s employee housing and operates a company-owned van for employee transportation to/from the worksite and scheduled errands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet new WAT staff upon arrival to the US and provide transportation in company-owned shuttle to employee housing.
- Conduct orientation of staff housing for new arrivals in a welcoming and friendly manner; check individuals into and out of housing and issues keys, linens, and Resident Agreements.
- Organize and provide transportation to and from worksite on daily basis, as well as weekly trips to nearby shopping and places of interest; coordinate weekly schedules for WAT shuttle drivers and assist with training as needed.
- Assist the HR team with the completion of social security applications and other onboarding paperwork as needed.
- Assist with regular housing inspections to ensure a clean and safe living environment in shared areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, and report maintenance or repair issues to Human Resources.
- Ensure residents are aware of emergency procedures and handle emergency phone calls as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus 1-3 years of Human Resources or customer service experience in hotel or hospitality environments; must be 18 years of age or older
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with a high level of professionalism and superior attention to detail
- Valid drivers’ license
- Ability to pass pre-hire criminal background; plus provide three professional references
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to operate 15-passenger van (non-CDL) and position self to perform general cleaning of vehicles as needed; regularly required to ascend/descend stairs to access all areas of the employee housing units. Required to move cleaning equipment, tools, and materials weighing up to 25 lbs. regularly; constantly required to visually inspect, detect, and assess work areas, equipment, tools, machinery, and vehicles.
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
Approximately 30-35 hours per week during operating season (schedule will vary). Must be available to operate company-owned shuttle to drive employees to/from worksite (1/2 mile from resort) between 6AM – 3PM during operating season. Base compensation is $21/hour.
