Overview:
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a full-service Fortune 100 firm, is seeking an attorney to work in its growing national management-side Employment, Labor & Workforce Management (ELWM) practice. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of relevant experience related to PAGA and Wage & Hour Litigation defense.

Candidates must possess excellent written skills, demonstrated by clear, persuasive motion practice and well-reasoned legal analysis. Candidates must have excellent communications skills demonstrated by experience and the ability to communicate complex legal issues to clients in a practical, solution-focused manner. Admission to practice law in California is mandatory.

The ideal candidate should have a Juris Doctor Degree or LLM (Master of Laws) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Have at least 2 years’ experience handling all aspects of litigation such as interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, drafting pleadings and various motions and briefs, conducting, and defending depositions, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, and attending court appearances. Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues related to PAGA and wage & hour claims; employee relations, mitigation of risk, advice and maintain communications with clients concerning employment matters relating to PAGA, wage and hour claims, provide strategic advice on employment compliance, labor code risks, and litigation trends.

In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus and flexible options to a hybrid work environment from our Southern CA office located at 633 West Fifth Street, 52nd Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90071. Candidates must reside within Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim MSA or be willing to relocate.

The yearly salary range is between $116,000-$275,000.

The actual salary will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience.
