Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Employment Law Attorney to join our team . The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive legal expertise across various practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, and patent law. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse employment-related legal matters within a dynamic legal environment. Candidates should have strong research and writing skills, proficiency with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw, and experience in legal drafting and administrative procedures. The position is full-time and involves engaging in complex legal analysis and client advocacy to deliver exceptional service.
Duties
- Provide expert legal counsel on employment-related issues including compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other resources to support case development.
- Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and litigation proceedings related to employment disputes.
- Advise clients on a broad spectrum of practice areas including estate planning, environmental issues affecting employment environments, immigration status considerations, landlord-tenant conflicts impacting workplaces, family law matters involving employment separations or benefits, securities compliance for employee stock plans, workers' compensation claims, personal injury claims arising from workplace incidents, tribal regulations affecting employment practices, patent considerations for workplace innovations, and other relevant legal issues.
- Manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining meticulous records of case progress and client communications.
- Stay current with evolving laws and regulations affecting employment practices through continuous professional development.
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar with active license to practice law.
- Proven experience in employment law or related fields such as litigation or administrative law is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law.
- Proficiency in legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent writing skills and ability to draft complex legal documents accurately.
- Experience working within a busy law office environment with proven organizational skills in managing multiple priorities effectively. Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
