The Center for Counseling & Consultation is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving Barton, Pawnee, Rice and Stafford Counties. What You’ll Do:
As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assisting severely emotionally disturbed adults in obtaining substantial gainful employment and/or applying for Social Security benefits.
Core Responsibilities include:
- Client Support: Conduct on and off site job coaching. Assist in the preparation of resume writing/filling out applications and teach appropriate interviewing and interpersonal skills.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Social Security Administration to ensure consumer maintains/receives benefits. Advocate for reasonable accommodations as needed. Maintains ongoing relationships with employers and potential employers. Develop an individual employment plan in collaboration with client and team. Stay informed of the current local job market.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintains all necessary paperwork directly related to the position and care of clients within designated time frames. Protect the confidentiality of the client by assuring release forms are completed and current.
- Training & Development: Participate in ongoing required training including in-services and professional development.

Requirements to Apply For This Position:
- · Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related area; or 4 years of equivalent work experience
- · Must maintain a valid Kansas driver’s license [MVR will be checked]
- · Background void of issues related to abuse or neglect
- · Must pass pre-hire drug test and be subject to random drug screenings after hire
Desired Qualifications:
- · Experience working with persons diagnosed with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness
- · Working knowledge of social service resources
- · Knowledge of general recovery concepts
Pay: $24.04 - $26.44 per hour
