We are looking for a proactive and analytical EMR Operations Technician to oversee daily equipment maintenance and repair (EMR) activities at a designated location. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, supplier performance, and compliance with global EMR standards. You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing shipping containers and associated equipment to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily EMR operations for the assigned location, ensuring smooth execution and issue resolution.
- Analyze operational data to identify faults, inefficiencies, and behavioral patterns that impact cost and performance.
- Monitor EMR suppliers for quality assurance and productivity, ensuring alignment with contractual expectations.
- Ensure full compliance with EMR policies and CENEMR SOPs, including implementation and follow-up.
- Conduct unit cost analysis and support cost control initiatives.
- Propose and implement SOPs tailored to local operational needs.
- Track and manage equipment Out-of-Service (OOS) status to optimize repair shop productivity.
- Perform regular depot audits to assess inspection and repair quality; verify corrective actions taken by suppliers.
- Support procurement in identifying and evaluating potential EMR suppliers.
- Maintain and manage relevant systems to ensure high data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate closely with Area Equipment teams to address on-ground issues and contingencies.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance and repair operations, preferably in logistics or container management.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on cost control and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with supplier management and audit processes.
- Knowledge of EMR policies and SOPs is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in data systems and reporting tools.
