EMT/Security for Campus at The Village - Full-Time

The Village Retirement Community is currently looking for an Emergency Medical Tech to join our team of professionals. The position will consist of answering "red alerts" when residents need medical assistance, security duties to include patrolling the grounds and making sure our residents are safe and secure in their homes.

PAY SCALE - $18.50-$19.55 Based on Experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities::

• Responds to medical emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to residents
• Maintains security throughout community in order to prevent personal injury or loss of property through fire, theft or other hazards
• Learn and know medical red alert procedures and how to respond to resident emergencies
• Must know security alarm and fire alarm systems to activate and silence
• Knowledge of proper radio procedures
• Conduct both exterior and internal patrols of buildings and grounds to ensure a safe and secure environment
• Know front desk procedures, relating to phone system, postal, routing and general info of campus
• Must have current EMT Certification/CPR/First Aid
