Endodontist DHA Part Time

Our facility requires a Specialist Endodontist (Part-Time) to work on Saturdays, ensuring our patients have access to expert emergency and root canal care throughout the weekend.

The Specialist Endodontist will provide expert diagnosis and treatment of the dental pulp and periradicular tissues. The role focuses on complex root canal therapies, endodontic microsurgery, and trauma management. As a part-time specialist, you will collaborate with general dentists to provide seamless tertiary care for patients requiring advanced endodontic intervention.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence: Perform primary and secondary (re-treatment) root canal procedures using advanced magnification (Dental Operating Microscope).
• Diagnosis: Utilize CBCT scans and digital radiography to diagnose complex periapical pathologies and internal/external resorption.
• Surgical Procedures: Conduct apicoectomies, retrograde fillings, and hemisections when non-surgical options are exhausted.
• Emergency Care: Manage acute dental trauma and provide immediate relief for pulp-related infections or abscesses.
• Patient Education: Clearly communicate treatment plans, prognosis, and the importance of post-endodontic restorations to patients.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with DHA Health Informatics standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

To practice in Dubai, you must meet the DHA Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR):

Education: BDS/DDS + Master’s Degree (MDS/MSc) or PhD in Endodontics.

Licensure: Valid DHA Specialist License or Eligibility Letter.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-specialty clinical experience.

Skillset: Proficiency in rotary endodontics and operating microscopes.

Compliance: Valid Good Standing Certificate (not older than 6 months).
