Position Introduction:

We are currently looking for an Electric Vehicle Energy Analyst Intern to join our team this summer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operations and Energy Team in analyzing electric vehicle utility tariffs related to energy costs and related demand charges.
  • Compile comprehensive, up to date, detailed reports on current utility rates impacting electric vehicle infrastructure and programs.
  • Assist in analyzing and proposing strategies for lowering energy related operational costs.
  • Monitor State and Utility based regulatory actions for changes that could directly impact operational costs related to electric vehicle charge point operators.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to project discussions and brainstorming sessions. Prepare meetings notes and assist in agenda creation and distribution.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of dashboards and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of business analysis techniques and tools is a plus.
