We are looking for an Energy Procurement Category Supervisor to take part in Şişecam Headquarters – Energy Procurement Category Department. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering fields or Economics and Administrative Sciences

• Minimum 5 years of experience in energy markets

• Knowledge of energy category and supplier market

• Preferably experienced in import and logistics process

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and knowledge of SAP

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Strong analytical skills

• No restrictions for domestic and international travels

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Identifying and negotiating with suppliers for natural gas, electricity, and coal to ensure cost-effective and reliable sourcing

• Preparing and issuing purchase orders and contracts, managing the full procurement lifecycle from initiation to close-out

• Monitoring supplier performance to ensure quality standards, timely delivery, and compliance with contractual terms

• Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers to support long-term procurement goals

• Conducting market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers

• Evaluating bids and proposals to justify and defend award recommendations with transparency and accuracy

• Coordinating with internal departments such as Quality Assurance, Production, Legal, Auditing, and Finance for smooth procurement operations

• Representing the Energy Procurement team in internal meetings and cross-functional work-week sessions
