Located at: Downtown Boulder
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Thursday 12 p.m. to 6/7 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 28 hours per week and they are open to slightly varied schedules as long as it provides them with after-school care. Open to discussing other scheduling options core hours needed are 12:30 to 6pm.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: The family is open to a 6 month commitment or a 1+ year long commitment.
Start Date: ASAP

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 3 years old.
About the Children:
This sweet and energetic little boy is bright, curious, and always on the move! He loves spending time outdoors, playing imaginative games, and engaging in creative activities. He currently attends a Waldorf school, 5 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. After school, he enjoys lunch followed by some quiet time to unwind.

Dual working work from work-from-home parents.
About the Pets:
There are no pets in the home.

This family has loved having a wonderful ABC nanny for the past 2.5 years and is now looking forward to welcoming another great nanny to continue providing loving, consistent care.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life...
Standard Duties:
All standard nanny duties, including light meal prep for the family, cooking for their son, children’s laundry, unloading and loading the dishwasher, vacuuming high traffic areas, and picking up around the home.
Travel Requirements:
The ability to travel is required for the position. Mom would like the nanny to travel to Chicago with them once a quarter for 3 to 5 days at a time.
Desired Skills And Abilities
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…
2 years of nanny experience with toddlers.
Previous experience with household management duties or previous experience caring for multiple children at one time
All candidates considered must be active and able to bike, hike, and run after a fast 3-year-old.
NO screen time rule, so they would like a creative nanny to come up with fun activities.
The ideal candidate will be active, engaging, and creative — someone who can be a fun buddy while also maintaining structure, boundaries, and consistency throughout the day. The family is seeking a nanny with strong intuition and excellent common sense — someone who naturally anticipates needs, notices the little things, and takes initiative without needing direction. This nanny should model positive behavior, encourage independence, and create a stable, nurturing environment that helps this little one thrive.
Compensation And Benefits
Let’s talk dollars and cents…
Rate of Pay (gross):
The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $56,000 - $64,000 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days, and a family car for driving on the job.
Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degree preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations.
