Engine Parts Sales Manager

Fiat Powertrain Technologies of North America, Inc. (a global Brand under our parent company, Iveco Group) is looking for a Parts Sales Manager to join our team! This role is responsible for driving after-sales parts and service revenue growth across the West Territory by partnering with dealers to improve operational performance, increase market share, and achieve full-service absorption. The position serves as a strategic advisor to dealerships, leveraging data, training, and commercial programs to maximize profitability for both the dealer network and FPT. This is a salary-exempt position.

This role owns the parts and service growth strategy across a multi-state territory, working closely with independent dealers and distributors to drive revenue, profitability, and customer retention.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory parts and service business plan to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and dealer profitability across the West Territory.
  • Achieving territory performance targets, including parts revenue growth, service absorption, parts penetration, and product program adoption (Extended Warranty, Telematics, Fluids, Consumables, and Reman).
  • Partner with dealer principals and service leadership to assess business needs, identify performance gaps, and implement actionable plans that deliver measurable results.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to dealers by leveraging data, financial insights, and operational best practices to improve service operations, inventory management, and overall profitability.
  • Drive dealer engagement and accountability for sales performance in alignment with established business plans and company objectives.
  • Strengthening relationships between FPT, distributors, and dealers through regular field visits, fostering collaboration and long-term customer retention.
  • Influence dealer inventory strategies by aligning stocking levels with engine and equipment population to improve parts availability, fill rates, and inventory turns.
  • Lead the execution of after-sales marketing initiatives and integrated dealership programs to increase parts and service sales.
  • Promote adoption of standard service methodologies and best practices to enhance service capability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver training programs, workshops, and on-site coaching to support dealer capability development and effective utilization of FPT parts and service programs.
  • Capture and communicate market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to support corporate strategy and product development.
  • Analyze competitive positioning, pricing strategies, and service offerings to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with regional and cross-functional teams to align on business priorities and ensure consistent execution across the dealer network.
  • Support corporate reporting requirements by providing accurate forecasts, performance updates, and territory insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales, aftermarket parts, service operations, or business development; experience within OEM, engine, or industrial equipment environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with dealer networks, distributors, or channel partners, with a proven ability to influence business performance and drive results.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial and operational metrics (e.g., revenue, margins, service absorption, inventory turns) and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and growth targets in a territory or regional role.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic business plans and driving measurable outcomes across multiple locations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including dealer principals and senior leadership.
  • Strong consultative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess dealer operations and implement effective improvement strategies.
  • Ability to work independently in a highly autonomous, field-based role while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools; experience with dealer management systems is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%, including frequent overnight travel (3–5 nights per week).
