Position Purpose
The Engineer will work as part of a team performing standard engineering work requiring application of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
Responsibilities

Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages/water leaks)

Resolve or find resolutions to guest complaints effectively and timely.

Complete preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.

Ensure efficiency and reliability of HVAC systems throughout all facilities. This includes a thorough understanding of the building automation system and control of all systems.

Responsible for operation, testing and maintenance of all systems per industry standards.

Perform Preventative Maintenance as needed.

Provide a safe environment for all members, visitors and staff of the Club.

Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

Technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, and refrigeration required, AV, Painting, Dry Wall, Carpentry.

Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly

Hotel maintenance background required

Must be able to follow directions with focus on detail, speed, and accuracy.

Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification in HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems, or a related field preferred.

3–5 years of engineering or facilities maintenance experience, ideally within a hotel, luxury residential property, or hospitality environment.

Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems maintenance.

Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced operational environment.

Relevant trade certifications or licenses (EPA, HVAC, or similar) preferred.
Physical Requirements

Able to traverse all areas of the club throughout the shift.

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as part of routine maintenance duties.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods of time.

Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when performing maintenance or repairs.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.

Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
