What you’ll do at Ather:

• Carry out end to end design reviews of new features and algorithms for vehicle software, mobile application and backend systems
• Ensure robust code review and impact analysis closure
• Set up a strong process for software change management
• Document the lessons learnt effectively and ensure they are implemented in the next phase of development/release
• Carry out failure mode avoidance analysis on each feature
• Ensure robust test case development covering end to end of any feature/release
• Drive the robust root cause analysis of the issues found during dev and production
• Create software quality metrics and track them effectively
• Ensure code architecture meets the agreed safety standards
• Prioritize the issues/bugs for team to work on
• Take effective and data driven decisions on day to day development
• Signoff on the release or changes with proper risk assessment
• Come up with logs and alerts to analysis the systems in testing and field
• Come up with strong end to end regression test framework
• Come up with ideas and setup effective test automation closely working with validation team
  
  

Here’s what we are looking for:

• “Systems thinking” where multiple factors are considered in making decisions and ability to challenge design decisions
• Experience with data analysis in Microsoft Excel, Google sheets
• Familiar with an agile work environment, along with tools such as JIRA, Confluence
• Diligent in tracking different tasks and ensuring they are closed
• Clear communication through dashboards and reports
  
  

What You bring to Ather:

• BE/B.Tech degree in computer science or electronics/electrical engineering
• 3-4 years experience in software development, software testing
