What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for an Engineer - Automation join our team at Cooking Appliances Directorate.

• Taking care of the setup and commissioning of machines, equipment, and automation systems
• Testing installations and systems, and analyzing data
• Supervising projects and ensuring project requirements are fully met
• Reviewing project proposals and identifying key points
• Solving electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and software problems on production lines, and taking all necessary actions to minimize the possibility of faults and failures
• Controlling equipment and processes for specific technologies, ensuring production efficiency in accordance with product/process specifications
• Leading newly implemented machinery projects or modification projects
• Cooperating effectively with other departments such as Production, Production Engineering, and Quality
• Demonstrating result-oriented and strong analytical thinking skills
• Being open to innovations and different perspectives
• Taking responsibility proactively
• Being a good team player
• Having strong communication skills
• Enjoying being in the production area
• Developing strong relationships with suppliers and improving supplier capability

The position is located in Bolu, Türkiye.

How we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering (a master’s degree is a plus)
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Strong knowledge of automation hardware and software systems
• Good knowledge of PLC and WinCC SCADA (Siemens TIA Portal, Simatic Manager), robotics (KUKA, Fanuc), image processing, and 2D/3D vision systems
• Hands-on experience in robot operations, sensors, servo systems, and motion control systems
• Knowledge of I/O, PLC, and bus communication
• Good understanding of communication protocols, SQL systems, and databases
• Strong analytical skills, root cause analysis abilities, and troubleshooting orientation
• Proven project management skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
• Ability to follow and adapt to market trends and new technologies
• Motivation to research and dive into deep technical topics
• Outside-the-box thinking ability
• Openness to an innovation-driven culture
• Flexibility and openness to new perspectives
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset
• Understanding the true meaning of empathy
