Engineer- Business Analyst

The Resource will support delivery of data and analytics solutions on the Modern Data Platform (MDP) by acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and data engineering teams. The role focuses on requirement gathering, data understanding, mapping, and validation to ensure reliable, governed, and analytics‑ready data products.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and data requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional specs and data mappings.
• Validate data quality, transformations, and reconciliations.
• Support Agile delivery and UAT activities.
• Strong understanding of data concepts (tables, joins, aggregations).
• SQL for basic data validation and analysis.
• Familiarity with Modern Data Platform concepts.
• BRDs, FRDs, user stories, data mapping documents.
• JIRA, Confluence, Excel.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication with business and technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple requirements in Agile setup.
• High attention to detail for data validation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Must have Bachelor’s degree, experience in SQL, Engineering, Documentations
• Banking Experience is an add on
