ENGINEER DRAFTSMAN CUM SALES

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

-Drawings Generation: Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, layout plans, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD or 3D modeling software.

-Interpret architectural, structural, or MEP drawings to ensure technical compliance with project specifications.

Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, and client feedback.

-Verify site dimensions and coordinate with the production/site team to ensure fabrication matches site requirements.

-Prepare, review, and submit accurate technical and commercial proposals/quotes based on BOQs (Bill of Quantities).

-Lead follow-up calls with clients, handle enquiries, and act as a technical advisor to persuade customers.

Close sales deals, negotiate contract terms, and secure orders.

-Identify design changes from tender drawings and submit variation claims for extra costs.

-Prepare sales reports, track project leads, and update CRM.

-Act as the liaison between the sales department, production/factory team, and clients.

Maintain organized drawing files, document revisions, and project documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

-Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in AutoCAD (2D/3D), Revit, or SolidWorks.

-Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.

-Experience: Previous experience in drafting, Estimation, and technical sales (often 2–5 years).

-Communication: Excellent English communication skills for client negotiations.

-Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and material standards.
