This person Engages in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying technical complexity, within the fields of engineering and applied science relating to design and develop autonomous systems, materials and metrology of nuclear batteries and other energy systems. Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills and the desire to take on new tasks and develop new skills and a proven capability to work in a collaborative environment in which you will work independently on a multi-disciplinary team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Undertakes and/or participates in engineering or technical design projects and programs that will support the units design and engineering, and other technical needs.
• Participates in the design, planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within other advanced technical areas.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
