Description of Work
The NCDOT Transportation Planning Division in Raleigh, NC seeks a mid-level transportation engineer for the Coastal Planning area. This role involves collaborating with the Jacksonville Metropolitan Planning Organization and Albemarle Rural Planning Organization to develop Comprehensive Transportation Plans (CTPs) as required by North Carolina law.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Grade and Salary Range: NC18 $ 61,545 - $ 107,703
Hiring Range: $93,137.00 - $95,466.00

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of engineering from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Necessary Special Qualification May require registration as a professional engineer by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
