Job Description:
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $86,400 - $129,600 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Product Applications Engineer II provides advanced technical expertise to support Sales teams and customers, with an expected depth of experience in Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) products and power management solutions. This role requires 2–4 years of relevant technical or applications experience, enabling independent evaluation of customer requirements, product selection, and application feasibility.
You serve as a key technical bridge between customer needs and product capabilities, supporting more complex applications and non-routine technical challenges. In this role, you conduct product demonstrations, deliver technical training, perform feasibility assessments, and contribute meaningfully to proposal development and solution design. You collaborate closely with Sales, R&D, and Product Management to translate customer needs into effective, compliant, and value-driven technical solutions.
As an individual contributor with specialized product and applications knowledge, you exercise judgment in methods, tactics, and processes to complete work independently with general guidance. Your impact is reflected through improved product adoption, enhanced customer solutions, and increased sales effectiveness, while upholding company policies, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

Serve as a technical resource to the Field Sales Organization for Transfer Switch, metering, and communications products.

Conduct product demonstrations and deliver technical training for customers and sales teams.

Review plans, specifications, and application requirements to confirm product suitability, conformance, and feasibility.

Perform feasibility assessments and recommend appropriate technical solutions based on customer needs.

Prepare and support technical proposals, quotations, and bills of material for standard and custom applications.

Address routine and non-routine technical inquiries independently, escalating complex issues as appropriate.

Support order execution by interpreting application requirements and coordinating with Engineering, R&D, Production Planning, Shipping, and other internal teams.

Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to translate customer requirements into technical solutions and provide feedback for product improvement.

Assist Sales with competitive technical analysis and application-based comparisons.

Support resolution of order-related issues, including billing inquiries, delivery challenges, and emergency parts replacement coordination.

Ensure successful product integration and application to maximize customer value and long-term adoption.

Maintain accurate documentation, follow up on quotations, and provide reporting on quotation and order activity.

Stay current on product enhancements, tools, and industry trends.

Apply a lean mindset to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste through continuous improvement.

Participate in training programs and occasional travel, as required.
