Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, & HVAC issues throughout the campus
Perform scheduled predictive/preventative maintenance on equipment
Prioritize and handle routine calls based on guest service needs
Replace damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles, and wall coverings
Complete basic plumbing, drywall repairs/painting, carpentry, flooring repairs, etc.
Perform all repair functions in accordance with local and national safety regulations in continual preparation for inspections by insurance, fire and life safety, regulatory and machinery officials and agencies.
Monitor inventory of materials and equipment necessary to maintain constant function of facilities maintained equipment. Order necessary parts and supplies.
Efficient and accurate completion of work orders/requests.
Ensures all activities and job duties are performed according to established company and departmental policies, procedures and goals, and following typical trade workmanship guidelines.
Perform snow removal efforts during winter months which may include shoveling sidewalks and access ways, salting the lots, ensuring no ice build up on garage ramps.
Complete any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate's degree preferred (experience considered), with a focus on Engineering, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, or related technical field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in general maintenance, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, basic plumbing, and light carpentry
Trade Certification, EPA certification or certificate in HVAC, plumbing, Electrical, or facilities maintenance desired
Proficient in using electrical meters for troubleshooting, familiarity with variety of test equipment and process instrumentation.
Ability to interpret blueprints, schematic diagrams, and wiring diagrams
Possession of a valid driver's license; Satisfactory driving record meeting Rivers Casino's insurance policy requirements
Ability to multitask and prioritize various activities, projects, or assignments
Excellent customer service skills
Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
Adherence to all policies and procedures, including attendance, appearance, safety, and security protocols
Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Certifications required:
Must obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License
Must become internally certified to operate scissor lift(s), forklift, and other equipment.
Trade Certification, EPA certification or certificate in HVAC, plumbing, Electrical, or facilities maintenance desired
Must acquire in-house certification to operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) Equipment
Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of standing
Climbing - safe ladder use
Regular bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching
Ability to push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently
