Job Title : Engineer II (Power & Electrical integration)

Experience : 5-8 Years

Location : Bengaluru

Role & Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end electrical integration of UAV platforms (battery packs, propulsion motors, avionics, sensors, payloads, ECUs)
  
• Design and integrate LV/HV wiring harnesses with proper power/signal segregation, shielding, grounding, and EMI/EMC compliance
  
• Create Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and coordinate with subsystem teams
  
• Validate power distribution, inverters, flight controls, and communication systems through ground and flight testing
  
• Plan & execute system-level tests, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes
  
• Ensure full compliance with aerospace wiring standards (AS50881, DO-160, MIL-STD-461, IPC/WHMA-A-620, EWIS)
  
• Generate and maintain schematics, test reports, BOMs, and integration documentation
  
• Drive cost reduction and value engineering while maintaining safety and performance
  
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, avionics, software, and manufacturing teams on tight schedules

Requisites

• Bachelor’s in Electrical & Electronics / Aerospace / Mechatronics Engineering
  
• Hands-on experience in UAV/drone electrical & harness integration
  
• Expertise in electrical CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical / BricsCAD Electrical / Zuken E3 / Capital Harness mandatory; CREO & Windchill preferred)
  
• Strong knowledge of avionics wiring, CAN/RS-422/Ethernet protocols, EMI/EMC best practices
  
• Familiarity with aerospace quality & regulatory standards (AS9100D, EWIS, DGCA/CEMILAC)
  
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills
  
• Ability to deliver under pressure in fast-paced aerospace projects
