Engineer II, Traffic Control

Prepare and implement comprehensive Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) strategies for construction and maintenance zones.

Facilitate the installation, adjustment, and maintenance of traffic signs, barricades, cones, flagging operations, and temporary traffic signals.

Ensure all traffic control measures comply with project specifications, local regulations, and safety standards.

Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and public authorities to plan road closures, detours, and traffic diversions.

Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to verify the effectiveness and compliance of traffic control setups.

Monitor traffic flow and public safety conditions and adjust traffic control setups as needed to suit dynamic construction activities.

Maintain accurate daily records of traffic control operations, incidents, and updates to the traffic management plan.

Assist in obtaining required permits and approvals from relevant traffic authorities and law enforcement agencies.

Respond promptly to public inquiries or complaints related to traffic disruptions caused by construction activities.

Report traffic control issues, violations, or non-compliance, and recommend corrective measures to senior engineers or project managers.
