Using the M-CAD system, design Systems, Products and Components.
Responsibilities
-
Analyse specifications in order to define performance criterions to be achieved.

Develop innovative and reliable solutions that fulfil specifications.

Design 3D models and prepare definition files for products, prototypes and test means.
-
Share technical topics with prototype workshops and suppliers.
-
Prepare a technical file to justify choice of concept and solutions.
-
Build 2D drawing with functional dimensions according to ISO standard.
-
Build tolerance stack-up and optimise dimensioning.
-
Define and identify functional and critical characteristics.
-
Apply CAD methodologies and deliver CAD data that pass Q-Checker.
-
Manage Product definition file into the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) database.

Power

Must have Catia V5 hands on experience

Good Knowledge of DFM & DFA

Good knowledge on GD&T and 1D stack-up calculation is necessary

Experience in automotive industry

For Electrical:

Knowledge on Mechatronics / Power electronics Product/components (for Mechatronics)

Product knowledge of Motor/ Inverter/ OBC-DCDC would be an advantage

For Thermal Cluster:

Design Casting Components considering GDC / LPD & HPD process

Autonomously Implement Mechanical design rules application for Plastic parts, Sheet metal parts and castings.

Drawing creation as per Functional Dimensioning and Tolerancing.autonomously

1 Dimensional stackup analysis

PLM EBOM Structure creation and updation

Packaging Valeo products in customer environment (clearances, Thermal conditions from Electronics and Customer sub systems, Electronics-Mechanical Interface checking based on guidance).

Ability to perform DFMEA from a standard P2 DFMEA or P1 DFMEA template - with limited guidance.
Experience in Automotive Electronic Product development / Consumer electronics Product development with exposure to Electronics Mechanical interfaces design.
