BASIC PURPOSE

This Maintenance Engineer is responsible for participating in the room preventative maintenance program and other work orders as assigned. They are responsible for performing the job in a safe and efficient manner and performing trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing etc. .

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Previous experience in hotel maintenance or similar role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Must be at least 18 years old (or as required by state law).
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Lifting thirty (30) pounds maximum.
• Constant standing & walking required.
• Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling.
