Job Purpose:

Provides technical support to Plant management team (PMT) in complex troubleshooting, unit performance assurance, optimization and perform technical studies for improving plant performance & equipment integrity.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Analyze plant performance indicators and recommend for optimum operation condition to achieve maximum plant efficiency (Normal operation/startup/shutdown).
  • Perform technical studies of plant performance, unit consumption, efficiency improvement, recommend operation for adjustment, monitor SU Parameters by escalating the deviations.
  • Conducts troubleshooting via technical studies and communicating with Licensers/ SABIC ATC/ TM to provide the required recommendation and solutions.
  • Provide support for benchmarking, Sustainability and SEEP requirements.
  • Evaluating of technical service request (TSRQ) and management of change (MOC) assigned for process engineering studies to provide proper solution and recommendation.
  • Establish and perform technical evaluation for selection of process material such as catalyst and resin, conducting the technical and visual inspection of process material to ensure the quality and avoid discrepancy. Forecasting & maintaining the required.
  • Support TAM preparation & lead process engineering activities in TAM such as catalyst & resin replacements and chemical cleaning of equipment.
  • Support PHA / RCA / Risk assessments / Asset criticality studies.
  • Support the developments of (PDP- CDP) in projects including execution and PSSR.
  • Follow up, monitor and complete assigned actions under digitalization solution, ARRAZI Tracking system and WAVE (SABIC Transformation Program).
  • Establish yearly development Plans (AGP's, TRP and Competency Gap analysis) to achieve Company objectives.
  • Lead and manage process engineering services PR/PO.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering


Minimum Experience:

  • 4 years in the field of plant operations.
