Engineer: Projects (Site)

Purpose & Scope of the Position

The Engineer – Project (Site) role within the Projects Department is responsible for supporting effective site execution of HVAC/MEP projects. The position ensures alignment with project objectives by managing site operations, verifying drawings, maintaining quality and safety standards, and coordinating with project stakeholders. This role serves as a key reference point for on-site technical execution, contributing to timely, cost-effective, and compliant project delivery while supporting continuous improvement in site performance.

Roles & ResponsibilitiesSite Survey & Verification

• Conduct site surveys to verify physical site conditions.
• Cross-check site conditions with approved drawings and identify discrepancies.

Technical Support & Coordination

• Act as the primary technical advisor at site for subcontractors and site teams.
• Provide technical guidance related to HVAC/MEP systems and installations.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications and drawings.
• Conduct quality inspections at all stages of installation and execution.

Planning & Material Oversight

• Review plans, drawings, BOQs, and material quantities for accuracy.
• Oversee materials received at site and report shortages or damages immediately.

Change Management

• Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding site-level changes.
• Ensure changes are discussed, approved, and documented prior to execution.

Material Requisition & Cost Control

• Oversee material selection and requisition as per project requirements.
• Control site wastage and expenses in line with company policies.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain complete site engineering documentation.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly site progress reports.
• Communicate regularly with clients and internal project stakeholders.

Safety Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety standards applicable to HVAC/MEP site operations.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices at site.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
