Description :
1.Purchase
- Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
- Negotiate with vendors for best prices
- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Prepare documents required for exports
- Customs, Excise filings
2.Project Execution support
- Ensure that all procurement adheres to budgeted cost in the project.
- Ensure delivery of as per schedule
- Follow-up with vendors for wrong supply & manage rectification
3.Store Management
- Ensure that the store is maintained systematically
- Ensure adequate insurance has been taken for stored items and items in transit
4.Process Improvement
- Analyse market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
- Generate MIS on all procurement activities and expenditure.
- Maintain approved vendors database along with their rate contract details
