Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Test Engineer with strong experience in functional testing to ensure quality, reliability, and
performance of enterprise applications. The role involves close collaboration with development, business, and
cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Execute manual testing including functional, regression, system, integration, and end‑to‑end testing
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools such as JIRA / Quality Center / X‑Ray
- Perform root cause analysis and work closely with developers to validate fixes
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Prepare test execution reports, metrics, and dashboards
- Support UAT cycles and coordinate with business stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing best practices
Nice to Have Skills:
- Automation testing experience
- API testing (Postman / SOAP UI / REST tools)
- Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Java / JavaScript / Python)
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication
- Ability to work independently and in fast paced environments
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Salary Range: $70000 - $100000 a year
